Recent developments in criminal law was an address given by Bernard F. Sykes to meetings of district judges, circuit judges, and district attorneys in Birmingham 1977 July 13-14. The speech was prepared to inform persons of criminal cases requiring their "notice and attention" during the past six months. The cases were decided by the Court of Criminal Appeals, the Supreme Court of Alabama, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and involve members of the audience as judges, district attorneys, or prosecuting staff members. The volume also contains an outline and numerical list of cases.
